Churches that use Cheda may send text messages (SMS) to members who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive them — for example, service reminders, event notifications, volunteer scheduling, and ministry updates. Members provide consent directly to their church through a web or paper form, verbally, or by texting a keyword such as START.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the messages a member has opted in to receive from their church, and is shared only with the messaging service providers required to deliver those messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Members can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and can reply HELP for assistance. Opting out stops further text messages from that church.
